I was already turned off of this product after reading the ingredient label - an almond bar with no almonds in it? Yuck.
The taste starts out exactly like coconut should (and I love coconut), but then quickly starts to taste like plastic. If you continue chewing through the plastic taste, it goes away and you’re left tasting nothing. So… at least there isn’t a plastic aftertaste?
Real jerky is not supposed to be slimy - it’s supposed to be tough and chewy. This strip left my hands slimy and sticky, and the juiciness overwhelmed the taste. At least it smells like normal hickory-smoked jerky.
I suggest leaving it on the counter - unwrapped and uncovered - for a couple days to let it dry out. Then it tastes MUCH better.

The Cat Test
Will the cats eat it?
(My apologies: this video is not great quality.)
The Verdict
Delicious. Highly reminiscent of dairy yogurt, with fresh-tasting fruit that you don’t have to mix in. Exactly the right ratio of fruit:yogurt for a uniform taste in every bite.
